Whenever I try to paste an image I copied into a layer, it always creates a new layer above the layer I made. This is annoying in several different situations. Currently, I'm trying to make animations, and I want to copy contents from one of my frames into some of the frames that proceed it, but whenever I try to do that a new layer is created and the contents are not pasted into the layer I wanted them to be in.
I figured out a work-around for this situation, but there could be situations in the future where this would be convenient for me and for others to know how to do.
edit: there's something I'm trying to do now that would be much easier if I could copy the contents from the preceding frames into the next frames.

I just made the same post on the clipstudio forum , but i think ill post it here too becasue its important (direct copy and paste from https://ask.clip-studio.com/en-us/detail?id=19243)
The liquify tool , im not the first guy asking this ,
procreate has it , photoshop has it and even a bunch of old lowquality and homebrew softwares have it ... only clipstudio doesnt ..
i would even program it for you for FREE , but as you are reluctant to even release plugin support and the sdk in english AFTER PEOPLE ASKING FOR IT FOR SEVERAL YEARS . it will probably never happen , you sold almost 1 million copies in a single years , means you guys are millionares but cant port a liquify plugin that even homebrew softwares have ????
the liquify tool make the difference between good and ultra high level paintings and drawings , not to mention that it speeds up creating characters and poses like nothing else in thsi world and youll always have the most perfect volumes and curves for any body part even after the final drawing/painting(a final image tends to loose gesture and flow compared to the sketch) ...
please guys you have the best program on the market but this obvious feature is missing, bums me out really , ugh , i dont want to use multiple programs like so many artists do, clipstudio could have it all
just that people understand i made these demos...first one is photoshop -- im just fixing the hairline would take me 10 minutes with painting but only seconds with liquify
second is blender 2d mode .. its the sculpt brush , it pushes the vectors around smoothly
3rd is clipstudios 'pinch vector' tool (the closest thing we have to liquify ) and even that one is seriously broken , just look at it , that tool shouldnt even be released ...
thanx , whats your thought on this stuff ? every speedpainting of the crazy guys like sycra , ross draws atc use this tool at one point or another ...
ohh and the warp transform isnt the same thing by the way , so please dont mention it !!!
i hope how everybody can see how important such a feature is important for animation task too!! hence all animation softwares like toonz, toonboom, flash/animate, etc, have means to deform their drawings
